By accessing or using this website, creating an account, registering for a player card, submitting a roster, registering a team, entering an event, submitting written materials, or participating in PFS Softball activities, you agree to these Terms of Use. Website Use
The PFS Softball website is provided for lawful softball-related use. You agree to use the website responsibly and only for authorized purposes, including reviewing event information, managing accounts, registering teams, maintaining rosters, reviewing schedules and standings, contacting PFS Softball, and using other approved website features.
Accounts and Login Credentials
Players, managers, directors, and administrators are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for activity that occurs under their accounts. You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update information that changes.
PFS Softball may suspend, restrict, disable, or remove account access if false information, unauthorized access, rule violations, payment issues, security concerns, misuse, or other administrative concerns are suspected.
Waivers, Releases, and Electronic Signatures
By registering for a player card, creating an account, joining a roster, registering a team, entering an event, or electronically signing any PFS Softball document, you acknowledge that electronic signatures carry the same force and effect as handwritten signatures to the fullest extent permitted by law. You further acknowledge that any waiver, release of liability, assumption of risk agreement, parental consent, roster certification, or similar document executed through the PFS Softball platform is binding upon the person signing the document and may be relied upon by PFS Softball, its directors, event staff, facility partners, and affiliated organizations.
Participation in PFS Softball Activities
Participation in PFS Softball activities may include tournaments, games, practices, events, warmups, roster activity, team activities, and related softball programs. By participating, you confirm that you understand the nature of softball activities and agree to comply with posted rules, director instructions, facility requirements, event procedures, and customary standards of sportsmanship and safety.
Assumption of Risk
Softball activities involve inherent and foreseeable risks. These risks may arise from the acts or omissions of players, coaches, managers, spectators, officials, umpires, directors, event staff, facility owners, or other participants; the condition of fields, dugouts, parking areas, walkways, equipment, weather, lighting, playing surfaces, or surrounding areas; the enforcement or non-enforcement of rules; and other circumstances before, during, or after participation.
These risks may include property damage, illness, injury, serious injury, permanent injury, disability, paralysis, or death. While skill, proper equipment, preparation, rules, supervision, and personal discipline may reduce risk, they cannot eliminate risk. By participating, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks related to your presence at or participation in PFS Softball activities, whether known or unknown, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Parents and Guardians of Minors
If you are a parent or legal guardian submitting information for a minor or allowing a minor to participate in PFS Softball activities, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that the information provided is accurate.
You acknowledge that softball activities involve risks to minor participants, including the risks described in these Terms. You accept responsibility for the minor participant’s involvement and agree to ensure that the minor participant follows applicable rules, safety instructions, facility requirements, and event procedures.
Team Rosters and Submitted Materials
Managers, coaches, directors, administrators, parents, guardians, or others submitting rosters, player information, waivers, registration information, team information, documents, images, or other written materials certify that they have reviewed the information before submission and that it is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge.
If submitted information is inaccurate, unauthorized, misleading, incomplete, or causes an eligibility issue, roster issue, claim, dispute, or administrative problem, PFS Softball may correct, reject, remove, or restrict the information and may take appropriate action under PFS Softball rules.
Player Cards, Classifications, and Eligibility
Player cards, classifications, roster eligibility, suspensions, and event eligibility are subject to PFS Softball review and enforcement. PFS Softball may approve, deny, expire, revoke, correct, update, or reclassify player or team information when necessary to maintain accurate records, competitive balance, or rule compliance.
Displayed player card status, classification, team roster, or eligibility information does not guarantee eligibility for every event, division, team, or classification.
Events, Schedules, and Formats
Event dates, times, locations, fields, directors, divisions, formats, brackets, pools, game schedules, entry limits, prize information, and other event details may change before or during an event. Changes may occur because of weather, field conditions, team count, safety concerns, administrative decisions, payment status, eligibility issues, or other circumstances.
PFS Softball does not guarantee specific game times, opponents, fields, brackets, divisions, formats, prize outcomes, or tournament results.
Payments, Fees, and Refunds
Player card fees, event entry fees, registration fees, credits, and other charges may apply. Payment requirements, deadlines, refunds, credits, and cancellation policies may vary by event or service.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees do not guarantee specific placement, schedule requests, classification decisions, field assignments, game times, opponents, or tournament outcomes.
Website Content and Public Information
Schedules, standings, rankings, points, rosters, player profiles, team profiles, event history, director information, parks, scores, and other website content are provided for convenience and may be corrected, updated, removed, or recalculated when necessary.
